Glasgow Science Centre

For the girlie's birthday, she wanted to go to the Glasgow Science Centre. Based on the waterfront where the Glasgow Garden Festival was held in 1988, next to BBC Scotland and not far from STV. You may recognise some of the inside of the Science Centre as featuring in Nina and the Neurons on Cbeebies.

Lots of fun was had by all 9 of us. The entrance fee was paid by tesco clubcard days out vouchers. After a long day of doing the nina and the neuron trail, the live fire show, picnic lunch and lots of chess playing we headed to the Fort and then to Nando's for dinner.

Cake

Girlie made her own birthday cake. Mum baked it and then made the icing but she did the rest. It's the one to be shared with the children at the childminders.

It's Snowing

It was dry when we went to school.

Then it rained when mum went to Tesco.

Now that dad's coming home for lunch, it's snowing and lying.

Bonjour Mes Enfants

Bonjour Mes Enfants. French was back today. Mum's rash has been unconfirmed as the doctor isn't quite sure what it is. She looks horrible. Dad's doing a fine job with us lot. They are to get a new telly. Well mum blew up the other one and it's not repairable. So mum got a refund in comet gift cards. She reckons she'll buy a new fridge with it. Dad sighed when he hear that but does agree that it may be for the best as their other one is nearly 8 years old.

Mum will be in bed again tomorrow with her virus and rash. At least the drowsy antihistimine is working now. Though we're not in favour for falling out and waking mum up to sort it out when dad could have sorted the situation of a paper cut and who the paper belonged to. But we woke mum up. Usually cos she doesn't shout but when mum's ill. Well lets put it this way....we weren't in favour with her.

Exciting times ahead then.

Horrible Weather

It's been dreadful weather today. Girl was meant to go up town with Gran Plum but it was horrible, so they went to a shopping centre instead.

Girl went back to ballet and flamenco. She's got her ballet exam in 6 weeks time. They want £50 by next week eeek.

Boy went to Granny Oz's to print off the tickets for the film tomorrow.

Hopefully tomorrow will be nicer weather.

Been Busy

The boys been bowling with the scouts.

The girls did a Mamma Mia Singalong night. Every window and glass in the house is now shattered.

The children fought when they got home. Probably due to being the first week back.

We won free tickets to a preview of the chihuahua film this weekend too.

Mum!!

Only Mum would put the water bottle in the boy's bag and not notice it was leaking all over her.

Mum met gran for lunch and they had a nice time. We're tired now but looking forward to a quiet weekend.

Our big cousin Emma was born 17 years ago. Happy Birthday.

Bah!!

We got chased out of the house so mum could go to work. It was good at the childminders though as we were all there as mum forgot we didn't have french. Don't think mum enjoys the drive to work as it's during rush hour again.

We're not doing well at sharing games just now. Dad is demented with us.

Back to Reality

We're back to reality today with an early wake up for school. We're slowly waking up.

Looking forward to seeing friends and sharing stories. Also we get a break from Mrs Stroppy.

Last day of the holidays

Dad took down the lights outside. Mum made us go to the gyle where she was Mrs Stroppy.

Because we wouldn't get up we had to cycle our bikes and now she's dragging us swimming as apparently we need an early night. Roll on going back to school to get away from her.

2009

We stayed up to the bells with our cousins. Had a great time watching the fireworks. Then we all slept until 9am. Been to Jimmy Chungs for tea and we're all knackered now.

Hope 2009 is your year.
