Mad Party Time

On Friday Mum was collard in the playground by a mum who wanted the boy to go to her son's party....today. So off he went to the football party. He was goalie which caused some hilarity between the parents there due to boy being so wee. But he made a great goalie and made some good saves. He had chicken nuggets and chips for lunch.

Then on Friday afternoon Mum got a phone call from a mum asking if boy was going to her son's party this afternoon. So the afternoon was softplay where he had Pizza and chips for dinner. Saved mum feeding him.

Girl went out to play all afternoon but it didn't occur to Dad to feed her.

Viking Boat

The project for the upper school was Vikings. A viking Artefact was required to be built. Most people did swords, shields or jewellery. Our child had to do a boat. Not just a log boat but a LONG Boat. First attempt was abandoned but we were delighted with her work on this. Shame it fell to bits! Hey ho.

Bah they came home

Mum and dad went to Dublin. We've been spoiled sooooooo much. We didn't have to do dancing. We went to Luca's and had anything we wanted. So that was pancakes and ice cream. We've been allowed to print reams and reams of things of the computer. We had chinese for dinner, we've been to the park and to the museum.

We got Rory and Roisin from Dublin along with some guinness goodies and dad had the beer. We also got new webkinz.

Now we're home and it's back to the grindstone for school tomorrow. Looks like mum may be at her new job indefinitely so that's Mondays and Tuesdays now. But it will be nice to have her on Wednesdays.

Oh Mum and Dad had a great time in Dublin. They are all loved up again.

Granny's

We're staying at Granny's this weekend cos Mum and Dad are going away. Mum's not well but it would cost too much to change it. We're getting used to having mum about on a Wednesday. She likes having that day off now.

We're sat here waiting on the candles coming and once we have those we can go to Granny Oz's.

Oh No

Mum's agreed to work 3 days a week until further notice. The only benefit is she starts later and finishes earlier. So she will still manage to pick us up every day. Dad was worried because of the fibro.

Boy did his class trip yesterday. No feed back on it. Girlie's ballet exam seemed to go well but 6 weeks waiting time for it.

All mixed up

Mum's changed all her days at work this week. It looks like she'll be having Wednesday's off instead of Thursdays. We also got dragged out this morning to the childminders as she was working today and got offered more work there. She should work tomorrow but due to Girl having her exam for ballet tomorrow it's an all mixed up week.
